from goodreads:
Every Halloween, Satan's Affair will come to you.
We travel the country, offering terrifying haunted houses, thrilling rides and the tastiest food. And with every passing town, I cleanse this world, one execution at a time.
I hide within the walls, casting my judgement for those that reek of evil, singing lullabies to their rotting souls.
Once you've been chosen, there's no escaping my henchmen—they cater to my every desire.
You can run and you can hide, but it only excites me.
Come.
Take a walk through my dollhouse, where your screams will blend and your cute little pleas will go unanswered.
But I can't promise it'll be over quickly...

my review:
okay so this took me really long to read, not because it wasn’t good buuuut it wasn’t as good as the cat and mouse duet. don’t get me wrong, i loved sibby in all of the books but i was expecting the steaminess from haunting/hunting adeline. if you’re going to read these books read satans affair first so you don’t have high expectations like i did!!

i really loved the different timelines in this book. it really gave you a perspective as to who sibby was and why she was the way she was. a very troubled childhood, that seeped into adulthood. so she really had a traumatic life. although i agree with sibby’s life work, she was very demented, but for good reason. the way she grew up was absolutely disgusting, disturbing, whatever you want to call it. i hated daddy for literally all that he was. i can’t believe that there is men like that in this world.

zade, daya, and addie make an appearance in this book and i kind of hated that i knew exactly what was gonna happen in the scene because i read the other books first but i kinda loved it because it made me squeal, i absolutely love cameos!!

satans affair was great because you got the back story of everything sibby went through and everything that made her into the demon-slayer she is, it was a little slow in comparison to the cat and mouse duet so if you’re going to read these read satans affair first and then haunting/hunting adeline. i hated the way it ended but it also screamed sibby and the way she does things. h.d. carlton did a great job nonetheless!
