after sifting through so many different book blogs i thought it was finally time to take the plunge and start one myself! i didn't know the first thing about having a blog but i took the plunge, read with lyss was created back in 2015 after i graduated high-school. starting this blog was just a fun hobby to share my love of books with those around the globe!
i'm alyssa, lyss for short! i am a 26 year-old graduate student residing in sunny california! most book bloggers want to become artists or get into publishing but this blog is just a fun way for me to share my opinions on different books. with all the stressors of life and school, reading is a fun way to relax and unwind, it also helps me escape the reality of life and venture off into different worlds!
