my review:
i honestly don’t know how to feel about this book, i didn’t hate it but i also didn't love it. it was really interesting and kept me wanting to read but it also was sort of confusing with the way the book was written, i got lost and really didn’t know who was talking at the moment. i was definitely interested in the story and finding out who other mommy was and how all these people could help them.
bela was an innocent child and had a lot of personality, i loved the way her dad loved her. she was honestly too smart for her age but after reading i can see why.
daddo was my favorite because he wasn’t perfect but he tried his best and listened to bela as much as he could. i really disliked bela’s mom, she was such a selfish person and didn’t care to believe her daughter about anything until she was able to see for herself. she was just a nasty person all around, very bitter and hateful toward everything and everyone.
there were some parts of this book that left me speechless cause what the hell is this thing and why does it want this innocent child and how could it do these things???? the twists were very intriguing given the confusion the book had. it was not terrifying or scary or anything like that, it was honestly mid. some parts were funny, some were creepy. overall not terrible but not great. i was expecting more from all the reviews i’ve seen.
