my review:
i’m not really into BDSM but if you are this is definitely the book for you! besides the BDSM stuff the storyline is actually interesting and actually kept me reading! the relationship development throughout the story really kept me hooked and not only between nikolai and maddie but between everyone! in between the spice there was definitely parts that made me giggle and literally laugh out loud. the story was definitely well written and a good read!
maddie bratty was literally in the wrong place at the wrong time but it ended up working out for her in the end, or kind of sort of. she’s still in danger but found the one to keep her safe at all costs. her attitude was great and her brattiness made the story light and fun to read. it also made the spicy scenes spicier.
i wasn’t a nikolai fan in the beginning but definitely grew to love him when i started to see him interact as himself. when he started to let his guard down is when you truly seen the lovable man that he truly is.
my favorite of the brothers was sully but i definitely loved them all and loved how they were not willing to be this random persons protector but ended up welcoming her with open arms and treated her like she was part of the pact.
i liked this book but a lot of questions went unanswered. i wanted to know more about what happened with the case. why did they talk about carrick so much if he wasn’t really there, it also made me super suspicious of him. especially the ending, i wanna know what happens next!
